Peace of Mind
Peace of Mind is a service provided by an experienced team
of support specialists to enable older people or those with
disabilities to stay in their own home for as long as possible.
The service is available to those living in the North Dorset
area and can be applied for whether you rent or own your home.

The Aims of the Service
- To provide the appropriate support to enable individuals to
remain living independently in their homes for as long as possible
regardless of tenure.
- To provide a team of professional and experienced staff trained
to identify and reduce elements of risk and promote safe and
independent living.
- To offer choice and flexibility to all service users in the
support they receive.
- To promote fair access and diversity in all aspects of the
service provided by the Association and its staff.
- To ensure that service users remain at the heart of the local
community through raising awareness of the services available in
the area.
- To reduce admissions to hospital through regular contact and
identification of extra support needs.
- To empower individuals to have a direct say in the way that the
service is managed and to play an active role in the improvement
and future development of that service.
