Planned Maintenance
The Planned Maintenance Team is based at
the Blandford Forum office. The team is part of Signpost Services
Ltd, working with us through a partnering
arrangement.
What is Planned Maintenance?
The main areas of Planned work include
replacement of external doors and windows, external works
(roofs, chimneys and walls) kitchens, bathrooms, heating
systems, electrical rewiring and external decorations.
How can I find out when my home is due for Planned Maintenance
work?
Signpost publishes a Major
Repairs Programme each year. If your address is not on the
list you can contact the Asset Management Team on 01258 484800, who
will be able to tell you when your home is due for an upgrade.

What will happen if my address is on the list?
You will be contacted by an officer from the
Planned Maintenance Team who will carry out an initial survey. If
your home requires Planned Maintenance work you will be consulted
and the works discussed with you beforehand. For your
reference, a Residents Information Leaflet is provided.
Is there any choice?
Some works such as kitchens, bathrooms and
doors offer a choice of colours and styles.
What if I don't want the work done?
You may request the work is deferred unless the work is
necessary to make the building safe, secure and weatherproof.
