Chescombe Court was built in 1973 in the
village centre of Winterborne Whitechurch. In 2008 the scheme
was refurbished and now consists of 21 flats .
On the ground floor there are six one bedroom
flats with bathrooms and four two bedroom wheelchair friendly flats
with wet rooms.
On the first floor there are six one bedroom
flats with bathrooms and five two bedroom wheelchair friendly flats
with wet rooms.
Facilities at the scheme
There is a lift which is wheelchair friendly
with push button for easy access between floors.
There is a laundry on the ground and first
floor. A mobility area on the ground floor. A guest room with
shower room on the first floor.
Garden
There is a communal garden area for residents’
use. Residents and Liaison Officer have no responsibility to do the
gardening. The Association employs ground maintenance contractors
to keep communal gardens tidy.
