National Tenant Voice seeks members
The National Tenant Voice (NTV) is being set up by the
Department for Communities & Local Government to give social
housing tenants in England a voice and access to expertise at a
national level. the NTV should be a stand-alone organisation, with
a majority of tenants on the board of directors.
The structure of the NTV will include a National Tenant Council
of 50 tenants and will act as a sounding board on housing policy
issues. It will be formed to reflect as closely as possible the
profile of social housing tenants on a national scale.
Recruitment for members of the council has now started on
Tuesday 8 September. Tenants are able to get information
and/or support in completing an application on the freephone number
0800 917 7396. Alternatively there is information available online
at www.hays.com/jobs/ntv. The
timescales are short as the campaign closes on the 16
October.
