Daniella Smedberg, aged 13 of Fontmell Magna has won the Signpost Resident Newsletter `Your Voice’ Signs of spring competition.

The competition set in the spring addition of Your Voice asked for children to enter into spring by sending in drawings, photos or collages of the signs of spring perhaps spotted whilst out and about during the spring holidays.

Daniella sent in an outstanding entry with details of a walk she took in the countryside along with illustrations.

Liz Baker, Community and Resident Involvement Officer said “ Daniellas’ art work was fantastic, it was obvious that a lot of hard work had gone into the entry. The Children’s page in Your Voice is always a pleasure to create and it’s lovely when we get such a good response.”

The prize was a wildlife pack containing wild bird feeders, wild flower seeds and wildlife books.
